What materials do you use in your jewelry?

All jewelry items are typically made with all 304 or 316L surgical stainless steel. This material is a great affordable alternative for those who are sensitive to metals like copper, nickel, or brass that can be found in silver or gold plated pieces. Items that are gold in color are made using gold-plated or electroplated stainless steel to maintain this hypoallergenic quality. 

Some pieces incorporate vintage charms or elements. For these items, I cannot guarantee the composition of the metal, so always be sure to read the item description. If an item contains any elements that are not stainless steel, it will be included in the listing. 

Do you accept custom orders?

Yes! I am always down to collaborate and create something uniquely yours. Contact me at [email protected] and make sure to include your design inspiration, preferred metal or bead colors, length, and any other information you would like to share. I typically respond within 48 hours to discuss pricing and confirm your design. 

How much will my custom item cost? 

Pricing will vary depending on the style and complexity of the design. Items that incorporate chainmaille or other intricate designs may have a higher cost due to the time and materials it takes to create the item. 

That being said - I appreciate any and all support and will try to work with your budget. Reach out to me with any questions and we can work from there. 

How long will it take for me to receive my custom order?

Velvet Bunny is entirely run by one person – myself! I design and put together all items by hand. My typical turnaround time is 5-7 days, but may take more time for complex designs. I will always communicate a timeline with you, but if you need your order by a certain date, reach out to me and I will try to accommodate you when possible. 

Do you offer shipping?

Yes! Shipping is available in the US and your item will typically arrive in about one week after shipment. 

*Please note: Once the item is in the possession of the postal service, Velvet Bunny is no longer responsible for any lost or stolen packages. If you would like to add insurance to your package, reach out to me before placing your order.

My item arrived damaged. What should I do?

Although I carefully package and ship each item, sometimes things out of my control can happen in the shipping process. If your item has arrived damaged, reach out to me and I will handle repairs free of charge. All I ask is that you cover shipping to me, and I will pay to ship it back to you! If you are local to Austin and would like to avoid additional shipping charges, I also provide repair services free of charge. Reach out to me with any questions. 

How long will it take for me to get my item?

At this time, I am only accepting a limited number of custom orders. Typical turnaround time is 3-5 days, but can take up to 1-2 weeks depending on the complexity of the design, as well as the number of orders I am working on. Please let me know if there is a specific date or occasion you need your order by and I will work with you to accommodate this.

What is your return policy?

Velvet Bunny does not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges at this time.
